My First Contest Season: Three Mammoth Podiums and 8th at Nationals
I didn't do any contests my first season. I was still figuring out how to snowboard. I started out struggling to link turns and ended the season with my first 540.
My first contest season started with barely any snow at Mammoth. For a while the park was mostly rails, jibs and one hip jump, so that is what I rode.
My first contest was Rail Jam 1 on December 7, 2025, and I got third. Here is the official Rail Jam 1 result.
The real jumps came back in January. I got third in Slopestyle 1 on February 14 with an 86.33, then third again the next day in Slopestyle 3 with a 72.00. These are the official results for Slopestyle 1 and Slopestyle 3.
That gave me three Mammoth podiums. One in rail jam and two in slopestyle.
I finished the full series third in slopestyle, tied for third in rail jam and fourth in halfpipe.
Then I went to Nationals at Copper Mountain.
On April 2, 2026, I placed eighth in Snowboard Menehune Boys halfpipe with a score of 68.25. The official Nationals halfpipe result has the full list.
I put the official links here because snowboard results get mixed up fast. These are the actual result pages.
Three podiums and eighth at Nationals don't make me a pro. They just give me a real place to start.
I have all four 540s and one 720 on snow now. Next I'm working on all four 720s and at least one 900 on snow. I haven't landed those yet.
Last season I had no contest results. Now I have four official event results. That is a pretty good start.
